Account and data deletion

You can request deletion of your LENIA account and associated data, or request deletion of specific data without closing your account.

1. Delete your LENIA account

To request account deletion, send the request using the same email address registered with LENIA. You do not need to reinstall the app or sign in to submit the request.

  • Provide the email address associated with the account.
  • Use the subject LENIA account deletion.
  • If necessary, we may request identity confirmation to prevent unauthorized deletion of another person's account.

2. What is deleted

After the request is validated, active data linked to the account that does not need to be retained for legal or legitimate security reasons will be deleted or anonymized, as applicable.

  • account profile and identification data;
  • user preferences and account settings;
  • conversations, memories, check-ins, Journeys and other saved content linked to the account, where stored;
  • other active personal data tied to the LENIA experience that can be safely deleted.

3. Data that may be retained for an additional period

Some records may be retained where necessary to comply with legal, accounting or tax obligations, prevent fraud, maintain security or resolve disputes. This may include transaction, subscription, audit and security records. Such data is limited to the applicable purpose and retained only for as long as necessary or required by law.

Copies already contained in backups may remain until the normal technical backup expiry cycle. They are not returned to operational use after account deletion.

4. Delete data without deleting your account

If you want to keep your LENIA account and request deletion of specific data only, you can also do so through support. Describe the data you want deleted and use the same email address registered with your account.

5. Store subscriptions

Deleting your LENIA account does not automatically cancel a subscription purchased through Google Play or the App Store. If you have an active subscription, cancel it directly through the relevant store to stop future renewals.
